Fly-In Flights
Fly-In is a group of flights in which the aircraft owners participate with their aircraft. They launch from Thumamah airport to the specific destination for the Kingdom’s various regions.
These flights aim to introduce the aviation field and spread its science by meeting the visitors of the region and enabling them to watch and ride the aircraft, having the flying experience, and meeting with the aircraft owners to gain knowledge and experience. The duration of these flights is from one to two days, according to a schedule announced each season.

The objectives of Fly-In flights
- Encourage the activities of general aviation and its culture
- Encourage the tourism and recognize the places of historical importance in the regions that are visited and promote them
- Attract the audience from the region in order to recognize the field of general aviation and its activities
- Introduce visitors to the aviation culture and enable them to meet with the owners of aircraft and pilots to answer their questions about aviation
- Encourage the investment and attract the investors to the field of general aviation in different regions of kingdom

FAI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Federation Aeronautique International (FAI) offers several international tournaments and competitions in various air sports activities according to a schedule published on the FAI website, where member states participate in those tournaments or competitions through clubs or organizations represented in those countries.
The Saudi Aviation Club is the official representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The club members can participate in international tournaments or competitions held by FAI in various aviation activities.
